DTA- Ultra Wideband (UW) Signal Recorder - Hardware and Software Upgrade
1.0 BACKGROUND: The Combat Direction Systems Activity Dam Neck (CDSA DN) has been tasked by the Naval Cyber Warfare Development Group, Suitland to procure hardware and software upgrades with technical support in order to provide training enhancements for the Ultra Wideband (UW) Signal Recorder.
2.0 SCOPE: This Statement of Work (SOW) describes Technical data/software upgrades to the Ultra Wideband (UW) Signal Recorder previously purchased for Fleet support. The CDSA engineers have determined that since D-TA was the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Real-Time Ultra Wideband (UW) Signal Recorder [combination of the DTA-9500A-A1U-120 Wideband Digitizer and DTA-5000W-A2U-112/003 Recorder], D-TA should perform the required hardware and software upgrades, which consist of adding a USB-3 Data transfer capability to these two devices for faster archiving of recorded signals. It is imperative to provide hardware and software upgrades on the existing equipment for fleet training with a form/fit/function equivalent without additional development effort and to provide a cost savings to the Government.
