STATEMENT OF WORK
Foam Weapons Cases for Air Warfare
1.0 General/Purpose
NAVSEA requested that W6-Division procure one (1) Foam weapons case for first article testing and four (8) hard shell cases production units. The hard shell cases are in direct support of a NAVAIR Harpoons weapons team. Comment by Granquist, Brendan R CIV USN NSWC IHD DET NJ (USA): eight
2.0 Requirement
2.1 The Contractor shall manufacture one (1) first article unit for testing and Eight (8) production units of foam weapons cases. Cases will be manufactured to drawings 8601325 and 8601326.

2.2 FIRST ARTICLE
2.2.1 The First Article sample shall meet the requirements of the Navy’s tests, as well, for the Government to approve the First Article. Once the First Article is approved, the Contractor shall be notified promptly by email from the person listed in Paragraph 5.0. Final inspection and acceptance/rejection shall be made by the Navy within 90 days for First Article after delivery to the station.
The Government reserves the right to require an additional sample, test, or cost compensation for Government testing if the product fails to meet the requirements specified herein or in the product documentation. Any production by the Contractor before formal acceptance of the First Article sample is strictly prohibited.
2.2.2 The Hardware delivery address for the First Article sample is listed in Paragraph 4.0. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating and shipping all the units to the required destination.
3.0 Inspection/Acceptance
Inspection and Acceptance will be conducted at the delivery locations. Government reserves right to inspect at supplier before shipment.
