PURPOSE

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources of commercial products/services that satisfy the Government’s anticipated needs.

BACKGROUND

The Cyber Operations Division at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) located at 4555 Overlook Ave SW, Washington DC, has a requirement to install six (6) Modular Power Distribution Units (PDUs) as part of its ongoing efforts to replace antiquated computer room infrastructure and address the growing need for increased power capacity. The PDUs will enhance power distribution capabilities, improve energy efficiency, and ensure the scalability and reliability of the computer room infrastructure that supports critical systems at NRL.

NRL is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a solution that will achieve the requirements identified in this notice.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, transportation, materials and supplies required to install six new Modular PDUs and all associated breakers, wiring, and related components. Additionally, the new PDUs must be American Power Conversion (APC) brand to ensure compatibility and seamless integration with the existing infrastructure equipment in the room. The use of APC PDUs will not only match NRL’s current infrastructure but also prevent the need for extensive room modifications or reconfigurations. Furthermore, the Contractor must be an authorized reseller and distributer of APC/Schneider Electric to ensure warranty compliance, OEM lifecycle support, and proper commissioning of the PDUs.

The Contractor shall provide and install all necessary electrical components, including electrical feeds, breakers, wiring, conduit, fittings, and associated materials, to connect each of the new PDUs to existing 480V UPS supported power distribution panels. All components must be installed in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance and proper functioning of the new PDUs. Additionally, the Contractor must conduct all required tests and inspections to verify that the electrical connections and related components are functioning properly and that the units are operating within the required performance parameters.

The new PDUs must meet the following minimum specifications:

· Two APC PDPM150G6F Modular Power Distribution Units

· Capacity: 144kVA, 72 Poles, 2 Subfeed

· Input Voltage: 480V, 3-phase

· Output Voltage: 208V, 3-phase

· Isolation Transformer

· Remote Monitoring: Equipped with SNMP card that will enable real-time and historic monitoring and must be compatible with StruxureWare Data Center Expert

· Must be compatible with APC Power Distribution Modules (PDMs)

· Provide and install two new breakers into existing 480V distribution panelboard to feed two new 144 kVA PDUs

· 4 APC PDPM288G6H

· Capacity: 266kVA, 72 Poles

· Input Voltage: 480V, 3-phase

· Output Voltage: 415V, 3-phase

· Remote Monitoring: Equipped with SNMP card that will enable real-time and historic monitoring and must be compatible with StruxureWare Data Center Expert

· Must be compatible with APC Power Distribution Modules (PDMs)

· Utilize existing panel breakers in existing 480V distribution panelboard that will feed the four 266kVA PDUs Submission Requirements Sources Sought Notice Responses shall contain the following information:

1. Capabilities showing how each specification will be met.

2. Estimated Pricing 3.Warranty Information. The Contractor shall provide a minimum 12-month warranty for parts and service that shall commence with the acceptance of the modular power distribution units.
