About this file
This document is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the purchase of 6 GSA-approved Class 6 security filing cabinets (safes), model number 7110-01-015-3196, by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). The safes must be designed for mobile use and delivered within 45 days of order receipt. This is a firm-fixed price commercial item procurement, with the contract to be awarded to the responsible offeror whose technically acceptable offer results in the lowest price. Offerors are required to be either the original equipment manufacturer, an authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller, and must provide documentation confirming their status. Offers are due via email by the response date, and the government intends to award a purchase order without discussions or negotiations.
