NRL-DC ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK EMERGENCY

VENT INSTALLATION

STATEMENT OF WORK

1.0 INTRODUCTION

This statement of work (So W) provides a description of services for installing emergency vents on four (4) aboveground storage tanks (AST) at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.

(NRL-DC).

National Fire Protection Association (NFP A) 30

2.0 GOAL

The overall goal of this project is to meet regulatory requirements for all AS Ts by having emergency vents installed according to governing regulation set forth by NFPA 30

3.0 SCOPE

This So W provides a description of services for installing emergency vents on the following tanks.

• AST's 310-311 in Bldg. 259

• AST's 312-313 in Bldg. 260

After the installation of the emergency vents, clean the tanks if required. The project is to be performed in accordance with all current federal, state, and local environmental regulations and necessary permits.

4.0 PROJECT REQUlREMENTS

4.1 The Contractor will, at least three days in advance, contact the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) with names and citizenships of person(s) who will be on.site to perform the work.

4.2 The Contractor shall provide all project-related labor and materials unless otherwise specified.

4.3 The Contractor shall clean up any project associated debris, if generated, upon completion of contract.

4.4 The deadline for completion of this contract is

5.0 REPORTS/DELIVERABLES

5. l The Contractor shall submit a copy of the itemized invoice in both electronic (DOC and PDF) and hardcopy form within 10 calendar days after completion of this contract to NRL Safety Branch, Environmental, Code 3546, 6.0
