Verification of reader nozzle measurement:
-Remove PMT Assembly from Main Plate.
-Position the Shuttle until the caution note on the Shuttle is to the left of the nozzles.
-NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH THE THERMOCOUPLE! Touching the thermocouple on top of the nozzle could and probably will result in a catastrophic failure of the thermocouple, requiring disassembly and repair of the Gas Heater Assembly. DO NOT TOUCH THE THERMOCOUPLE.
-Using a calibrated vernier or depth gauge, measure the depth from the top of the nozzle to the ledge surrounding the nozzle. NOTE: The measuring device must be perpendicular to the top surface of the ledge.
-The resulting dimension will be taken for all four nozzles.
-The resulting dimension shall be 0.040 ± 0.010”
