The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for 2-G

Engineering rotary actuators and supplemental testing. The compliant product is available solely from 2-G Engineering, as the required materials are only available through 2-G. The NAICS code is 335999 and the business size is 500 employees.

The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to 2-G Engineering. The proposed action is for 2-G products, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: 2-G Engineering is the only source of the required equipment, with no comparable item on the market. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to 2-G Engineering using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 11:59AM 12 December 2019 This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 11:59AM on 12/12/2019 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the

Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Inquiries should be directed to both Michael Bonaiuto at michael.bonaiuto@navy.mil and Gary

Whitney at gary.whitney@navy.mil.
