Data may be revised and re-evaluated as needed during this effort.
o Obtain and review the following critical data from NSWC Crane/MTech:
Dynamic operating loads/Load profiles (time-based curves).
System Load Profile: Time-based curve of overall TAS system load.
Ball Screw Loads: Operating load for each ball screw (BS1, BS2, BS3), accounting for unequal aerodynamic loads.
Life requirements (hours, cycles).
Stroke length.
Speed requirements.
Power requirements.
Environmental requirements.
Positioning accuracy and repeatability.
Interface Requirements.
Material and Finish requirements.
Weight requirements.
Identification of specific performance requirements and sections within SCD 8090200490 and details within SD-EN-004 that are critical for evaluation against the new TAS loads and anticipated changes.
o Analyze the provided data to understand the operational demands of the TDDS (TAS) system.
Plug-and-Play Feasibility Evaluation:
o Based on the acquired operational data, evaluate the feasibility of using the existing P-8 and MQ-25 ball screw assemblies, motors, PCBs, and gearing for the TDDS
(TAS).
o Analyze the impact of operational loads on component fatigue life and performance.
o Assess the required modifications to existing systems for integration into the TDDS (TAS) application.
o Evaluate the electrical performance risks based on the MQ-25 electrical concessions.
