About this file
This document is a Sole Source Order synopsis for a naval contract opportunity issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. The procurement is for Research and Development, Engineering, Technical, Logistics, and Program Support Services specifically associated with the EA-18G Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Suite. The anticipated contract has a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods, and an estimated total value of $28,058,944.00.
NSWC Crane intends to award the contract directly to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) using 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) statutory authority, citing lack of sufficient technical data, potential duplicative costs, and potential delays as justification for the sole source approach. The solicitation was issued on 19 September 2025, with a closing date of 06 October 2025 at 10:00 am Eastern. While the contract is primarily targeted at NGSC, the synopsis indicates that other responsible sources may submit capability statements, though the final determination remains at the government's discretion. Interested parties should contact Megan Regan at megan.m.regan2.civ@us.navy.mil for further information.
