About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a renovation project for Rooms 127 and 127F at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane in Crane, Indiana. The project scope includes comprehensive demolition and renovation work, specifically removing existing VCT flooring, cove base, chilled water lines, data/communication lines, and non-functioning 400Hz power infrastructure. Renovation activities involve repairing walls to a level 4 finish, priming and painting doors and walls, installing new 4" rubber cove base, replacing drop ceiling tiles, preparing the subfloor, and installing epoxy flooring with broadcasted flake.

The contract includes electrical work such as installing surface-mounted electrical outlets and LED light fixtures, and mechanical updates like replacing existing diffusers and return grilles. The project is structured with a base bid (CLIN 001) for complete renovation and an optional bid (CLIN 002) for removing and replacing mechanical and electrical equipment. Key requirements include compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and submission of various technical deliverables. Contractor personnel must follow strict security protocols, including obtaining proper base access credentials and adhering to NSWC Crane's operational guidelines. The primary performance site is Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, with work to be conducted during standard government work hours.
