Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a non-commercial, sole source, firm-fixed Price (FFP), five year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Freedom

Power Systems, INC., 1620 La Jaita Drive, Suite 100, Cedar Park, TX 78613-6941. The procurement will be for a minimum quantity of one (1) and a maximum quantity of 30 over the five year ordering period.

The requirement is for spares of the Freedom Power Systems, INC., AC/DC converter power supply, drawing 03538-77A126669A vendor identification number 01-644-0001. Freedom Power Systems INC.

converter is an approved and required component of the AN/SLQ-32(V) 6 system. It has been verified to meet the specification requirements through extensive engineering tests. FOB destination delivery will be

180 days after receipt of order at NSWC Crane, Crane, IN. The requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 23049(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. It has been determined that Freedom Power Systems, INC., is the only manufacturer of the converter that can be utilized in the AN/SLQ-32 (V) 6. The solicitation will be available on or about 22 October 2014. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified by the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
