About this file
This is a detailed solicitation (N0010426RK044) for Canopy Severance Assemblies and Window Cutting Assemblies for the U.S. Navy and multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The procurement covers four specific items: MS94 (Canopy Severance Assembly - Gunner Left), MS95 (Canopy Severance Assembly - Pilots Window), MS96 (Window Cutting Assembly), and MS97 (Window Cutter Assembly), primarily for the AH-64 Apache helicopter. The contract is a firm fixed-price arrangement with multiple delivery line items, including base quantities and option quantities, totaling approximately 1,646 units across different configurations and international customers including Poland, Korea, Egypt, and various U.S. military depots.
The solicitation includes complex delivery schedules spanning multiple lots, with deliveries ranging from 645 to 780 calendar days after contract award. Each item includes lot acceptance test samples and production units, with specific requirements for quality assurance, unique item identification, and configuration control. The procurement involves multiple funding sources, including U.S. Army Field Service accounts and various Foreign Military Sales cases, with ownership codes indicating different funding streams. The contract emphasizes rigorous quality control, requires detailed reporting, and includes provisions for cybersecurity, small business participation, and specialized manufacturing requirements for these critical safety items used in military aviation.
