1.1 Background
3.2.1
2.1.1.f) 2.2.2.c) 3.1.1.f)
Section 1.1 of the Statement of Work references CTA telemetry and components furnished as Government Furnish Property (GFP) being maintained as Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) by the successful offeror. Upon review of FAR 52.245-1 definitions, GFP is property furnished to a contractor, where CAP is property provided by the contractor.
Since the government will be furnishing the CTA telemetry to the successful offeror, recommend the referenced sections and pages to the left refer to the provided CTA telemetry as Government Furnished Material (GFM), vice CAP.
CTA telemetry and components will be provided as GFP to be converted and maintained as CAP by the successful offeror. The Government institutes no change to this section.
