Every user will be required to have a valid username, password, and a valid DoD-approved certificate. This certificate may be a DoD-issued CAC or may be a certificate issued by a DoD-approved External Certification Authority. Please note, the Government will not sponsor CACs.
To obtain IDE Access you MUST:
1. If you do not currently possess a CAC, obtain a certificate from one of the approved External Certification Authorities at the following link - http://iase.disa.mil/pki/eca/Pages/index.aspx.
2. Identify and provide the COR a list of individual(s) that will require access to the IDE. Access is limited to three (3) personnel in Statement of Work (SOW) paragraph 3.7.2.
3. The names of COR-approved users will be provided to the PMS 408 Data Manager who will provide instructions for gaining access to the IDE.
4. The PMS 408 Data Manager shall provide each new user with the Vendor CDRL Process Course as a slide presentation. The user can elect to take the course as self-training or request assistance and/or schedule formal training with the PMS 408 Data Manager.
5. The new user now has limited access to the IDE but full capability in the Vendor section.
For technical assistance, contact the IDE Help Desk at: 301-744-5440 or PMS408IDE@navy.mil. For all other questions, concerns, or issues, please contact the PMS 408 Data Manager.
