USS PAUL HAMILTON (DDG 60) EDSRA
Solicitation Number: N00024-16-R-4400 Agency: Department of the Navy Office: Naval Sea Systems Command Location: NAVSEA HQ
This is a sources sought announcement in accordance with FAR 15.201 and in anticipation of a potential future procurement program. The Naval Sea Systems Command is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing the FY16 Extended Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability (EDSRA) on the West Coast.
The USS PAUL HAMILTON is currently stationed in Pearl Harbor and is scheduled to change homeport to San Diego prior to the start of the EDSRA. The Government anticipates the USS PAUL HAMILTON will be available for ship checks in Pearl Harbor. Interested companies should be advised that a similar DDG platform may or may not be available in San Diego to conduct ship checks prior to proposal due date. Travel to Pearl Harbor or possibly San Diego may be necessary at the company’s discretion to conduct ship checks.
The Naval Sea Systems Command is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. The Government is seeking responses from sources that can perform dry-docking maintenance, repair, and alterations anticipated to begin in mid-2016 on the West Coast.
The Government has provided the following information as an attachment to this sources sought announcement:
1. A representative sample of standard work items completed under past DDG-51 class availabilities, highlighting the type of work that may be completed.
Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a notice of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact to Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command, Attn: Elyssa Parana SEA 02444. Please limit your response to no more than 5 pages.

2. How many employees does your company have?
