About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for FortiGate license renewals in support of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft program, issued by Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).
The procurement is a limited competition restricted to Fortinet's authorized Federal resellers in the Fortinet Federal Partners Program. The contract is an indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) agreement with a firm fixed-price structure, effective from February 1, 2027 through January 31, 2032. The Government will order a minimum of 324 licenses and maximum of 1,378 licenses across multiple contract line items (CLINs). The solicitation includes nine CLINs covering FortiGate SX and BX annual and partial-year FortiGuard Antivirus (AV) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) licenses for base year and four ordering years. SX licenses are available only during the base year (February 1, 2027–January 31, 2028) due to end-of-life status, while BX licenses continue through the full contract period. The contractor must provide authorized access to the Fortinet/FortiGuard portal for downloading current AV and IPS update files; Government personnel will handle installation and configuration. The contract explicitly excludes FortiCare services, technical support, hardware maintenance, and any other support services. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, responsible offeror from the Fortinet Federal Partners list that meets solicitation requirements. Proposals are due October 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time and must be submitted electronically via DoD Safe to the designated contracting officers.
