About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the overhaul of an MTU S60 Heat Exchanger component. The document outlines repair and maintenance requirements for industrial fluid coolers used aboard U.S. Coast Guard cutters, specifically Rolls-Royce Solutions America Inc. part number DDE 23535343 (NSN 4420-01-600-2330). The work scope includes receiving the heat exchanger cooler, performing a pressure test, complete disassembly, inspection of plates and gaskets, and detailed documentation of findings. A quantity of 39 units is specified for this repair action. The SOW emphasizes that substitute parts or part numbers are not acceptable, and contractors must source OEM parts directly from Rolls-Royce Solutions America Inc., as the U.S. Coast Guard does not possess proprietary manufacturing drawings, specifications, or technical data to provide to vendors. This brand name sole source solicitation is being issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center under solicitation number 2126406B27DSDZ003 as a competitive request for quotation with anticipated firm fixed price award. The work supports critical maritime operational readiness for Coast Guard surface vessels.
