About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget's Printing Services for RFQ #26*0231 concerning the printing of MSHDA PUB 9 Booklets. The project requires the production of 1,450 booklets. The print consultant for this project is Kristin Bergan, who can be contacted at 517-636-7743 or BerganK@Michigan.gov. IMAGE PRINTING has been identified as the recommended vendor for this award. The Notice of Intent to Award does not constitute a final award; Printing Services reserves the right to perform the work in-house or to issue the actual award only after an order is received and the decision is made to proceed with the recommended vendor. Vendors have the opportunity to file a protest of the award decision through the Vendor Self Service portal within the deadline specified on the Notice of Intent to Award.

Three vendors submitted bids for this project: IMAGE PRINTING at $369.88 with a five-day turnaround time, LAWSON at $825.00 with a seven-day turnaround time, and three non-prequalified vendors (MILLENIUM, QUALFON, and PRINTEX) whose bids were not evaluated. Both IMAGE PRINTING and LAWSON met the evaluation criteria, including price hold, Michigan printing capability, and relevant experience. IMAGE PRINTING was recommended based on providing the best value to the State of Michigan through the optimal combination of pricing and evaluation criteria factors. Inquiries regarding Printing Services' outsource process, bidding procedures, protests, awarding decisions, and bid tabulation should be directed to Jerry W. M. Monroe, DTMB Printing Services Consulting & Pre-Press Manager, at 517-636-0297 or monroej1@michigan.gov.
