About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget's Printing Services for Request for Quote #26*0423. The project involves the production of 600,000 #10 special window envelopes. The RFQ evaluation has been completed, and Diamond Envelope has been identified as the recommended vendor. Kristin Bergan serves as the print consultant for inquiries regarding this project. Protests of the award decision must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Self Service portal by the deadline specified on the Notice of Intent to Award. An actual award will be issued by Printing Services only after an order is received and the decision is finalized to issue the project to the recommended vendor. Printing Services reserves the right to perform the work in-house if elected.
Six vendors submitted bids for this project, with prices ranging from $12,540.00 to $20,400.00. Diamond Envelope, the recommended vendor, submitted the lowest bid at $12,540.00 with a 21-day turnaround time and a 10-year price hold. The evaluation process prioritizes best value to the State of Michigan based on a combination of pricing, turnaround time, and other criteria factors. Printing Services may award to a higher-bidding vendor if that bid provides superior value based on turnaround performance or other considerations. No specific set-asides, incumbent information, or funding source details are referenced in this award notice.
