About this file

This Minimum Requirements Document outlines a procurement for the Makoto Arena II System by the 711 HPW/RHBCP for the Office of Basic and Venture Assessments (OBVA) Laboratory. The system is designed to support vision training and enhancement methodologies for improving warfighter training and perceptual awareness. Key requirements include a triangular configuration supporting a 360-degree multi-planar environment, integration of visual and auditory stimuli, and measurement of reaction time, accuracy, and first-step speed.

The system must have an onboard computer control system allowing customization of programs, cue tones, play formats, and session durations. It will support three main program types: Fitness, Therapeutic, and Children/Kids Game. The document specifies that any "or equal" item must meet these salient characteristics precisely. The procurement involves purchase, installation, assembly, and training of the system and its peripheral accessories, with the ultimate goal of enhancing warfighter training effectiveness through advanced vision training technologies.
