MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE
Occupational Vocational Training Program
Machine Tool-Machinist Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Duluth, located in Duluth Minnesota
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The service is for the provision of Vocational Training Program-Machine Tool/Machinist. The services will be provided for the FPC Duluth. The physical address is 4464 Ralston Drive, Duluth, MN 55811. The contract shall consist of effective date of award through twelve months with five (5) performance periods (5 years), one 12- month base year with four 12- month option years and a possible six-month extension for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices. It is estimated that 9 students will be taught the course at an estimated 860 sessions. A session is one hour. The services will be required 9:00 am-3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. The schedule is subject to be adjusted to meet program requirements and the needs of the institution. These services are listed in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code Category 611310 Colleges Universities and Professional Schools. The size standard is 34.5 million.

The Federal Acquisitions Regulations requires the following insurance’s: Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s liability not less than $100,000; and General Liability no less than $500,000 per occurrence; and Automobile Liability of at least $200,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $20,000 per occurrence for property damage. Are these rates and requirements consistent with regulatory requirements in Duluth, MN?
