About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) for annual weed and tick control services at the MPSCS radio tower locations across the state. The SOW outlines the scope of the 5-year contract, which requires the contractor to be a certified commercial applicator, provide a list of materials to be used, coordinate access to the locked sites, and provide advance notification before application. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and provide administrative and physical confirmation of the application. The services must be performed Sunday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM, and the contractor must attend a kick-off meeting and provide weekly status reports. The SOW also details key personnel requirements, pricing terms, invoicing, and service level agreements with potential credits for non-compliance.
The contract opportunity is for MPSCS Shelter Site Weed and Tick Control services, which covers locations in Ingham County and the City of Lansing. Pricing is to be firm for the 5-year contract term, with potential adjustments based on changes in actual contractor costs. The SOW does not mention any set-asides, incumbents, or specific funding sources, but discusses environmental and hazardous material requirements for the products used.
