About this file
The document is a Salient Characteristics file for Multi-Physics Simulation Software sought by the U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. The government requires advanced multi-physics software capable of complex system modeling and simulation for research and development, with critical requirements including support for simultaneous multi-phenomena simulations, user-friendliness, customization, and compatibility with existing research tools.
The software must demonstrate high-performance capabilities, specifically supporting simulations with up to 10 million degrees of freedom, 10,000 time steps, and 1,000 simultaneous physics and meshing operations. This is a Sources Sought pre-solicitation opportunity (Solicitation Number: FA462525SSB01) with response submissions due by 2:00 PM CDT on 19 May 2025. Vendors are requested to submit detailed specifications, delivery lead times, projected quotes, company information, CAGE Code, and Unique Entity Identification number via email to Brevin Morris at brevin.morris@us.af.mil, with the goal of identifying potential software providers for the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command.

Multi Physics Simulation Software Whiteman Air Force Base, MO 7 May 25
1. The government requires Multi-physics software for complex system modeling and simulation to support research and development efforts.
2. Critical requirements for the multi-physics software include:
- the ability to support complex simulations and modeling of various physical phenomena
- be user-friendly
- customizable
- ability to support multiple phenomena simultaneously
- be compatible with other tools and software commonly used in research and development
- the software must also be stable and reliable, with minimal bugs or errors
- must be able to support large simulations with minimal degradation in performance
3. The desired performance levels include the ability to perform simulations with performance levels at or above industry standards, with the ability to support simulations with up to 10 million degrees of freedom, 10,000 time steps, and 1,000 simultaneous physics and meshing operations.
