Mobile Tower for Radio-Frequency (RF) Antenna – RFI Description
This Request for Information (RFI) is for three (3) commercial Mobile Towers for RF Antennas that include a mobile trailer and elevate up to a height of 100 feet. Mobile towers are to be mounted on on a mobile base (trailer) with tandem axles, surge brakes, and deck storage space.
Mobile tower units should be able to retract into a fully horizontal nested position for relocation.
Mobile towers should be stabilized with trailer jacks, outriggers and earth anchors. Outriggers should be adjustable to level the tower on sloping terrain. Guy wires attached to the the earth anchors should have tension indicators to eliminate the need for tensiometers.
Required specifications:
Maximum Payload Weight (Guyed) 450 lbs.
Extended Height 100 ft.
Deck Height 24 in.
Power 120 VAC Lift System Electrically Operated Winch System Extend/Retract Wind Speed (Guyed) 30 mph Operational Wind Speed (Guyed) 70 mph Survival Wind Speed (Guyed) 120 mph
RF Antennas are not part of this requirement.
