About this file
This document is a market research survey issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support regarding men's and women's leather dress oxford shoes for the Navy. The agency is seeking input from industry on its proposed acquisition strategy of awarding a single firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a base term of three years and tiered pricing. Key details include an estimated annual quantity of 147,732 pairs, delivery to a distribution center in Lansing, Michigan, and responses requested by November 21, 2023. Manufacturers are asked a series of questions regarding production capabilities, pricing, material costs, delivery timelines, and any industrial base issues. The purpose is to inform DLA's acquisition approach for a future solicitation scheduled for April 2023.
