Synopsis:
Added: May 07, 2012 4:01 pm
The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick
Contracting Division, has a requirement in support of the US Army Medical
Materiel Development Activity to procure a sole source Hyperbaric chambers and Certified Hyperbaric with Oxyheal Health Group under the authority of
FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B). Oxyheal currently supports the
Research Program at Camp Lejeune, Camp Pendleton, Fort Carson, and
Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Due to imposed changes by the FDA and DoD
IRB committees, program direction required additional pilot research to be inserted into the timeline. Failure to maintain currently installed chambers and trained chamber technicians will invalidate approved research protocols, halt the collection of data, increase costs and negatively impact the study's ability to complete as required by the Vice Chiefs of Staff and Congress. This continued effort will be for a single 6 month period of performance with five optional 6 month periods. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the U.S. Army RDECOM
Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division via e-mail to:
Nathan.c.jordan.civ@us.mail.mil no later than 9:00 a.m. on May 22, 2012.
