About this file
This document contains the minimum specifications for a Next Generation Single Channel Amplifier required by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD). The amplifier must meet detailed physical, thermal, power, and performance requirements including frequency range, signal processing, input/output interfaces, monitoring capabilities, and indicator lights.
The related federal contract opportunity is a brand name solicitation (RFQ N0016725Q0014) for the purchase of four (4) new Instruments, Inc. L2X-P2 Amplifiers. This is a small business set-aside with the contract to be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Quotes are due by November 11, 2024, and the government intends to evaluate quotes and award without discussions. The solicitation includes applicable FAR/DFARS clauses and provisions.

make the necessary adjustment to pair the extra signals and their design. Our only request is to keep as much backwards compatibility with the L2x-P as possible to avoid modifying our cables but if some signals must be paired together and use ground shielding the designer should be in control of that.
