About this file
This is a Statement of Objectives for the acquisition of a mini excavator by the Western Nevada Agency for the Walker River Indian Irrigation Project (WRIIP). The procurement is intended to improve ditch maintenance and worker safety at the WRIIP facility located in Schurz, Nevada. The mini excavator must have an operating weight between 10,000 and 12,000 pounds, feature an enclosed cab, and include a mechanical thumb with two 18-24 inch width buckets—one with teeth and one with a smooth edge. The equipment must match the towing limitations of the agency's service truck to enable safe operation in the uneven and narrow ground conditions surrounding WRIIP ditches.
Delivery must be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at WRIIP in Schurz, Nevada. The vendor is responsible for providing on-site warranty service in Schurz, Nevada, or arranging transport to a nearby shop located within 100 miles. The government will provide an operator to offload the equipment at the Western Nevada Agency office in Carson City, Nevada (311 E. Washington Street, Carson City, NV 89701-4065). No response dates, award dates, or pricing information is specified in this document.
