About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Higher Education in partnership with the Education, Grants and Benefits (EGB) consortium for analytical services related to the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS). The RFI seeks to identify potential vendors capable of providing comprehensive data analytical services to support SLDS operations and enhance data utilization across Colorado's education systems. The RFI was released as part of FY27 procurement (REQ 13874079) and does not represent a binding solicitation but rather an informational inquiry to gauge vendor capabilities and market availability for future contracting opportunities.
The RFI is designed to establish a baseline understanding of vendor expertise in education data analytics, longitudinal data system management, and related technical capabilities without committing to a specific contract award or pricing structure at this stage. Interested vendors should note that responses to this RFI do not guarantee future contract awards, and the state may use information gathered to inform subsequent formal procurement processes. This inquiry precedes any formal competitive bidding and allows the state to assess the vendor landscape before proceeding with detailed scope development and formal solicitation.
