About this file
This is a product specification document for the Maine State Warden Service detailing requirements for LED dash and deck lights to be installed on eight snowmobiles. The Maine State Warden Service seeks a single blue LED lighthead with an integrated weatherproof flasher assembly for each of the eight snowmobiles in its fleet. The specified equipment must operate on 12 VDC, be easily controlled by a single toggle switch, and not exceed a current draw of .5 amps per lighthead. The lightheads must feature blue LEDs (not clear lenses with blue covers), weatherproof construction, and be mountable on the dash, deck, grille, trunk, and mirrors. The units should be available individually or in kit configurations and compatible with standard mounting applications.
The lighthead components are required to include a standard five-year warranty from the date of purchase, while the flasher assembly must carry a standard two-year warranty. The specification references Micro Lite Dash/Deck LED lights as meeting the general product category, with options for black ABS plastic or silver cast aluminum housings and clear lens covers. The flasher must be an external component with weatherproof capability. No pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, or funding sources are specified in this document.
