About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a construction project to install a backup generator at Building 1043 on Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) in New Mexico. The key objectives are to install a new 50 kW, 208V standby generator, automatic transfer switch, and associated electrical equipment and infrastructure. The work includes demolition, civil/structural work for a new generator pad, and electrical work to connect the generator to the critical electrical loads in the building. The SOW provides detailed requirements for submittal, permitting, construction methods, and project coordination.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for this construction effort, with an estimated value between $250,000 and $500,000. It is currently expected to be a total small business set-aside, but the final socioeconomic program set-aside may be determined based on responses. Interested contractors are requested to provide a statement of capability, recent/relevant experience, proposed NAICS code, and socioeconomic status. No funding is currently available, and this posting is for market research purposes only.
