About this file
This document is a Presolicitation Notice/Synopsis for a sole source contract to procure Minehunting Payload Delivery Systems (MH PDS) and associated equipment from Raytheon Company. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a contract to Raytheon for the production of up to 5 MH PDS units, up to 10 towed cable assemblies, engineering support, spares, and other provisioned items over a base year (FY2024) and one option year (FY2025). Raytheon is the prime integrator and original equipment manufacturer for the MH PDS, which provides mine hunting capability by securely stowing, deploying, and retrieving the AN/AQS-20C Towed Body from a host platform. Award to any other source would compromise the effectiveness, performance, and reliability of this fleet-critical capability. The government will consider any capability statements, proposals, or quotations from responsible sources.
