Questions received for notice MG-22-001:
1. I noticed that it requires an Indian Owned Enterprise, but is this a definite or could other US based companies bid on this?
Yes, any U.S. based company can respond to the notice; in addition, the notice serves a purpose to identify any sources, but also provides notice that according to the Buy Indian Act may be set aside for Indian Economic Enterprise entities depending upon the responses received from the notice. For additional information on the Buy Indian Act ruling I am sharing the Federal Registering Ruling: Federal Register :: Acquisition Regulations: Buy Indian Act; Procedures for Contracting
2. Whether companies from Outside USA can apply for this?(like, from India or Canada)
At this time, we require companies within the U.S.A. according to the Buy American Act.
3. Whether we need to come over there for meetings?
No, the requirement does not call for any meetings at this time.
4. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA?(like, from India or Canada)
That depends on the requesting Program Office and their review of any received proposals or information presented from your entity.
5. Can we submit the proposals via email?
Yes.
