1. Abbreviated Description: The statement of work defines the requirements for two MetraScan3D-R with COBOT or equal, including installation and training.
2. Base System Requirements: The base system for this requirement shall be a Metrascan3D-R with COBOT or equal measurement system. The system shall be designed to still maintain accuracy and repeatability in a shop floor environment with temperature’s ranging from 50 deg F to 100 deg F. The system shall be mounted on a portable Fanuc robot. The system shall also include the following:
A. Utilize Blue light lasers (SYS-MTR-PR23BELMTC) B. Maintain an accuracy of .025mm or better C. Have a measurement rate of over 1,800,000 measurements/second D. Robot arm must have a max reach of 40” (OTH-CRE-CRX10L) E. Use a 2M laser class or less F. Operate in 90% humidity rate or better G. Have a volumetric accuracy of .078mm or better H. Measurement resolution of .0009” or better I. Run on standard 120V power J. Compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 K. On site Cobot layout optimized for at least 2 part specific setups L. Capable of measuring parts up to 30” in length by 15” wide
3. Software Requirements: The system shall include the Polyworks Inspector IMInspect, IGES and STEP Polyworks/Inspector Standard This software shall have the following requirements:
3.1 Main Software: The system shall include the Polyworks Inspector IMInspect , IGES and STEP Polyworks/inspector Standard with the following requirements:
A. Display relationship between parts, sensors, datum alignments, and machine accessories B. Full measurement capabilities and tools C. Full GD&T functionality D. Full 3D CAD capability E. Enhanced productivity and analysis tools F. Support for unregulated environments G. Include IGES/STEP CAD File import H. Produce high density point clouds and STL files I. Import STL files captured on a different machine to compare data relative to different features captured on another system J. Work offline on a standalone work station K. Fully turnkey and able to operator in a “operator mode” that requires little to no programming knowledge to operate L. Include at least 2 WVA part programs to be programmed on site at WVA during the training
3.2. Offline Support: The system shall come with 3 year’s of Polyworks offline 24/7 tech support with access to e-learning Creaform software updates , and remote assistance
3.3. Software Subscription: The system shall come with a 3 year software subscription agreement (SSA) for all applicable Polyworks Inspector software (PART NUMBER: SFT-PWK-INN). The SSA shall include free updates of Polyworks software for the version it was purchased under.
4. Optical Requirements: The system shall include a C-Track Optical tracker (PART NUMBER: PR23BELMTC) This shall have the ability to measure surfaces such as fiberglass, composite, plastics, machined metal parts and surfaces with a mirror-like finish.
5. Laser Scanning Requirements: The system shall come with 45 Blue Light Laser Scanner (SYS-MTR-PR23BELMTC). This shall provide high resolution scanning, measurement of deep surfaces, be capable capturing 1,500,000 measurements per second , and the ability to measure all surface textures.
6. Workstation: The system shall come with a Duel Monitor Ergonomic Portable Stand
7. Accessories: This shall replace the standard PC normally supplied with the system. The PC shall provide strong computing power for CAD rich environments. The PC shall be, at minimum, an Intel Core i7- 12850HX (16 cores / 2.1GHz /4.8GHz) Nvidia Quadro RTX A4500 16 GB Windows 11 Pro 64bits 16 inches FHD AG LED UWVA 400 RAM: 64 GB DDR5 4800 1 TB NVMe SSD, 3 Years Warranty by HP and office professional.
8. Installation: The system shall come with 4 days full turnkey installation of the cobot and laser/vision equipment and Calibration with ISO/IEC 17025 certification. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to completely deliver, rig, and install the machine. The only assistance WVA will provide is the connection of electrical power to the machine at the point of first connection.
9. Training: A five (5) day class for 4 people shall be offered, either on-site at the Watervliet Arsenal or off-site at the manufacturer’s facility. The class shall be focused on Polyworks Inspector training. An additional four (4) day class for 4 people shall be offered for Fanuc robot arm programming, robot trajectory, advanced robot troubleshooting. As well as a two (2) day operator training class offered on site at WVA for up to 4 people
