About this file

This document is a Price Sheet for the MED54 Influenza Vaccine for the 2020-2021 Flu Season contract opportunity issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) Immunization Program. The contract solicits quadrivalent influenza vaccines in various presentations including single-dose syringes, multi-dose vials, and live attenuated nasal spray, with estimated total quantities ranging from 10,000 to 55,000 doses. Bidders must submit pricing that will be fixed for the life of the contract, and the vaccines must be recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for the 2020-2021 season. The MDPH Immunization Program may choose not to purchase doses on this state contract, but other state agencies, cities, and towns will be able to do so for their own use.

Pricing must include the federal excise tax, and bidders may offer more than one product per line item but must provide the same price across all line items for the same vaccine. The MDPH Immunization Program is not providing estimated quantities for certain higher-dose or adjuvanted vaccines for the elderly. Doses that expire within the 2020-2021 flu season must be replaced at no cost. The state may choose not to purchase doses on this contract, but other government entities will be able to do so.
