About this file

This notice announces the intent to award a sole-source contract. The United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases requires a renewal of Genedata software to analyze compound synergy and permit interactive dose response curve fitting, multiple synergy models, and visualization tools. The software must be compatible with PerkinElmer Opera Imaging instruments used for cell-based assays and image analysis to determine potency and cytotoxicity of test compounds. Genedata, Inc. is the sole provider of this proprietary software currently used in ongoing studies at the agency, and a different product would invalidate previous research protocols. Interested parties may submit capability statements by September 1, 2020 to be considered for potential competitive procurement, though sole-source award to Genedata, Inc. is anticipated if no acceptable alternatives are presented. The contract would be classified under NAICS 511210 with a performance period from September 2020 through September 2024.
