The tags are divided into 4 series, with 6,500, 3,000, 1,500, and 1,000 tags respectively. The vendor must provide a detailed quote letter, and only prequalified vendors will be considered. The contract will be awarded based on best price and value to the state, which may not go to the lowest bidder.

The pricing terms are not specified, but the document indicates that the Department of Technology, Management & Budget awards bids on best price and value, and the lowest bidder may not receive the award due to past quality concerns or inability to meet requirements.
