REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Capabilities in response to Executive Order "The Iron Dome for America"
Notice ID: MDA-RFI-001 Amd 01
Industry day will take place at Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Redstone Arsenal in the Von Braun III auditorium at 9:00 AM Central.
Industry Day will kick off with a series of briefings at the Collateral SECRET Level. The industry day briefing can only be given in a Collateral SECRET environment. Each company will be limited to 5 attendees due to space.
The purpose of the RFI is to explore recommended solution sets for specific threat space discussed in the RFI. If you have a capability that can be designed, developed, and deployed at the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level, please advise and we will work to accommodate your opportunity for a one-on-one session. All respondents requesting a one-on-one must provide an abstract (1 page or less) of your idea, and how it defeats the threat or is deployed/employed within the Missile Defense or wider DoD arena. The abstracts should be for a material solution, and there should be one abstract per solution. Multiple abstracts from a single company will be allowed. The one-page abstract is to be unclassified and can be emailed to the POCs within the RFI (Cassidy Ory at cassidy.a.ory@mda.mil and Melody Thurmond at melody.thurmond@mda.mil) by 10 February at 5:00 PM CST.
One-on-one timeslots will be held the afternoon of 18 February and all day on 19 February. Timeslots will be assigned by 5:00 PM CST on 12 February. The abstracts will ensure the Government has the appropriate personnel in attendance during your one-on-one discussions. One-on-one discussions will take place at MDA, Redstone Arsenal in Von Braun II or Von Braun III.
RFI responses are due February 28.
If you require a CVTC teleconference number for your one-on-one session, please advise when requesting a one-on-one session.
