About this file

This document contains responses to questions from offerors on a solicitation for the Marine Corps Wideband Satellite Communications - Expeditionary (MCWS-X) program. The government response provides additional details on anticipated purchase quantities in the first two years of the contract, which are expected to be around 100 systems in Year 1 and 80 systems in Year 2. It also notes that video files will not be accepted as evidence for certain performance specifications and that a vendor, government, or test agency test report may be used instead. A one week extension was granted to the proposal due date, which was extended from June 5, 2020 to June 12, 2020 as indicated in Amendment 0002 to the solicitation.
