A - The RFQ is open to all companies and non-US experts can be included in the team.
Q.2 Could MCC clarify if participation in these due diligence services might disqualify a contractor from bidding and working on the implementation of a subsequent project in the future?

SECTION C DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK
Q.4 Section C.6. Page 17, Please could you clarify the expected number of round trips? Section C.6.page 17 says
“Offerors’ financial proposals should consider up to 6 round trips total to Mongolia during the Base Period, and up to
4 round trips during the Option Periods. For purposes of lodging and per diem calculations offerors should anticipate that each trip will be of 10 days duration in Mongolia plus the travel days.” Please could you clarify:
1) Are there six trips per expert planned in the base period, or six trips in total?
A – there are approximately 6 trips planned in the base period.
2) Similarly, are there four trips planned per expert in each option period
A- There are 4 trips planned for each of the option period.
3) Please could you clarify the Total number of trips to Mongolia. If there are 6 trips per expert in the base period and 4 trips per expert in the option periods, this gives 6x3 + 2 x 3 x 4 = 42 round trips.
A- The total number of trips is 14 in the base and two option periods for all experts.
Q.5 Page 22 section F.3: The contractor will be required to travel for work and meetings with MCC staff in
Washington and to MCA countries per requirements stated in SOW. Please could you clarify the number of expected trips (and length) to Washington. The table on page 22 suggests one Kick Off meeting in Washington at contract initiation, however says nothing about further trips during base or option period.
A- For the budgeting purposes please assume a total of 14 roundtrips to Mongolia. In case there will be a need to travel to MCC’s HQ in Washington DC, please take one roundtrip to Mongolia and split the costs into projected DC trips. The kick off meeting can be conducted over skype in case the personnel is not based in Washington.
