Requirement: Business Plan Writer
This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Rather the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within MBDA to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the government.
MBDA is located in Washington, D.C., and seeks information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing a consumer-off-the shelf (COTS) business plan development software to replace its existing business plan writer (http://www.mbda.gov/index.cfm?fuseaction=login.main&theme=business_plan_writer&CFID=311218&CFTOKEN=89593625). The proposed application should be scalable to meet MBDA’s current needs and agile enough to support white labeling or a blended branding approach (e.g., “MBDA Business Plan Writer powered by ABC Company”). The desired application will be cloud-based and capable of being accessed from a remote location. MBDA is also interested in an application that is innovative and provides a value-added experience to the user. The desired application will also allow MBDA to generate usage reports and collect other metrics desired by the Agency. It is envisioned that any bid would be a firm-fixed price contract.
