Curren Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWTP). The scope encompasses approximately 32 fire hydrants located at 2700 Maritime Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, with bids due September 14, 2026. The procurement is designated as a sheltered-market opportunity for Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) vendors. While specific details regarding pre-bid meetings, questions deadlines, and award timelines are not provided in this document, the contract involves comprehensive inspection, testing, certification, and maintenance services with deliverables governed by material specifications and fire-flow test documentation forms.
The material specifications document establishes mandatory equipment and supply standards for performing the contracted services. Required materials include aluminum hydrant identification tags (minimum dimensions 2.5" wide by 1" tall with 11/16" bolt opening, equivalent to or better than Hydra-tag systems), food-grade grease approved by the hydrant manufacturer or Bostik Never-Seez Food Grade Grease as an alternative, OSHA-approved high-grade enamel paint for barrels in red and for bonnets in light blue, green, orange, or red, and Ennis Paint/Stimsonite model 911AB blue bidirectional reflective pavement markers with manufacturer-approved adhesive. The procurement includes eligibility restrictions requiring Small Local Business Enterprise certification, and contractors must comply with ADA requirements and OSHA safety standards. No contract value, contract term, incumbent contractor information, or formal evaluation criteria are stated in the available documentation.
