About this file

This document is a technical review checklist for a federal solicitation to procure replacement appliances for two U.S. Army housing facilities in Germany. The scope of work involves replacing appliances at Building 8785 of the Baumholder Military Community and the Bavaria housing area. The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering Support Center Huntsville is the contracting agency. Bidders must complete the checklist demonstrating their items meet environmental and warranty requirements, and annotating how technical documents address construction details in the Furniture Item Descriptions. Documentation is required showing appliances and casegoods meet GSA testing standards or Army specifications. Bidders must provide highlighted excerpts of their GSA contracts confirming the models and features offered are approved. The checklist will go through multiple rounds of technical review by the agency to ensure compliance before an award is made.
