About this file

This document is a Market Research Survey conducted by DLA Troop Support for Marine Corps Women's Dress Blue Coats. The survey seeks market insights for procuring dress blue coats with NSN 8410-01-668-8077, requiring non-government furnished material in Dark Blue (Shade #2312) and Scarlet (Shade #2501) cloth. The proposed contract is a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 5-year ordering period, covering a minimum of 1,920 and maximum of 33,600 coats, with a 120-day initial production lead time and 90-day follow-on lead time.

Key requirements include RFID labeling, Berry Amendment compliance for domestic manufacturing, and origin/destination inspection at Travis Association for The Blind in Austin, Texas. The survey requests vendor information on business size, production capabilities, manufacturing capacity, and pricing tiers ranging from $32.49 to $37.95 per yard for cloth materials. Vendors are asked to respond by November 7, 2025, with confidential insights, understanding this is not a binding solicitation. The market research aims to determine an acquisition strategy and vendor capabilities for supporting military customers worldwide.
