About this file

This document is a Market Survey for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime, seeking market research for NSN 2815016634201 (REPAIR KIT, DIESEL E) under a potential Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The comprehensive survey seeks detailed information from potential suppliers about their capabilities, business structure, pricing models, delivery terms, and contractual flexibility. Key details include a request for responses by 04/24/2025, interest in a three-year base contract with potential option years, and exploration of commercial item classification, pricing strategies, shipping zones, and production capabilities.

The survey targets understanding supplier readiness through extensive questioning across seven sections: general interest, commercial item status, FOB point preferences, shipping zones, delivery capabilities, cost/pricing data requirements, and miscellaneous operational details. The government is specifically investigating potential contractors' ability to provide a repair kit for diesel equipment, with particular emphasis on small business participation, pricing stability, inventory availability, and willingness to meet government testing and packaging standards. The market research aims to develop an acquisition strategy that balances government needs with contractor capabilities for the NAICS 333618 classification.
