About this file
This document is a Market Research Survey conducted by DLA Troop Support for men's dress shirts for AGSU, ASU, and JROTC uniforms. The survey covers six specific shirt items with detailed specifications, including variations in style, color, and fit across different military uniform types. The anticipated procurement is structured as an Indefinite Quantity Contract with five tier terms, each lasting one year, with a total contract term not exceeding five years. Projected annual estimated quantities range from 8,100 to 66,832 units per item, with total maximum quantities potentially reaching 1,573,421 across two lots.
The survey seeks comprehensive market information from potential vendors, including business details, manufacturing capabilities, production rates, pricing insights, and compliance with Buy American and Berry Amendment terms. Specific technical requirements include Product Demonstration Models (PDMs) for four shirt sizes, with a compressed 30-day proposal submission window. The government's objective is to determine an acquisition strategy that supports military customers worldwide and understand industry capabilities for efficiently procuring these uniform shirt items. Responses will be confidential and used to inform the upcoming solicitation by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Clothing and Textiles division.
