About this file
This document is a Market Survey for a potential Large Buy and/or Long Term Contract (LTC) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support for Hearing Protectors. The survey seeks industry input on procuring National Stock Number 4240-00-759-3290, with an estimated annual quantity of 14,000 units. Key research questions address vendor capabilities, including business size, manufacturing status, commercial availability, order quantities, delivery terms, and production capacities.
The survey outlines potential contract terms, including two possible contract structures: a 2-year base with 3 one-year options or a 1-year base with 4 one-year options. DLA is exploring economic price adjustment mechanisms, seeking vendor perspectives on pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual flexibility. Vendors are asked to respond by close of business on June 20, 2025, to Amanda P. Breen via email, with responses aimed at helping DLA develop meaningful and attractive contract parameters for this hearing protection equipment procurement.
