About this file
This document is a Market Research Survey for Explosive Coveralls issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Clothing and Textiles. The survey seeks industry input for a potential 36-month Indefinite Quantity Contract covering explosive coveralls with specific National Stock Numbers (NSNs): 8415-00-279-8719 through 8415-00-279-8722 and 8415-00-280-2455. The government is requesting detailed information from potential vendors regarding manufacturing capabilities, pricing, production lead times, and company descriptions, with responses due by 5:00 PM EST on May 01, 2025.
Key procurement details include a planned solicitation using Best Value Trade-Off Source Selection Procedures, a 180-day production lead time for subsequent delivery orders, and delivery destinations at VSTG/VSTJ/VSTZ locations. The survey aims to help DLA Troop Support determine the optimal acquisition strategy, including the number of contracts, contract length, and potential competing companies. Respondents are asked to provide specifics on their manufacturing potential, pricing for three contract tiers, labor and material ratios, raw material availability, and compliance with Berry Amendment requirements for domestic production of clothing and textile items.
