About this file

This is a market research inquiry from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support regarding a potential procurement for Islamic Religious Items. DLA Troop Support, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is conducting an informal market survey to gather information from potential contractors before initiating a formal indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The procurement will involve customer direct orders for delivery to both continental United States (CONUS) and outside continental United States (OCONUS) locations. A spreadsheet attachment specifies the National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and Annual Estimated Quantities (AEQ) for each item required.

The market research requests responses to 15 questions addressing company capability and capacity, including company size and type, ability to source all items, recommended additions to the item list, minimum production quantities, estimated unit pricing, and ability to meet a 14-to-30-day ordering period. Additional inquiries focus on domestic sourcing capability, competitive pricing methodology, monitoring of Producer Price Index and Department of Labor wage data, access to the Virtual Item Manager (VIM) system, current SAM.gov registration status, valid CAGE code, and commercial versus non-commercial classification of the items. Responses are requested by 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Interested parties should contact Alex Carvajal or Charles Brown II. The document emphasizes that this market research is for informational purposes only, with no guarantee that a solicitation will follow.
