About this file
This document is a Market Research Survey for Athletic Shoes issued by DLA Troop Support, seeking vendor capabilities for men's and women's running shoes across three shoe types (Cushion, Stability, Motion Control). The survey covers a 36-month ordering period with tiered quantities ranging from a minimum guaranteed 56,610 pairs to a maximum of 849,150 pairs annually, primarily for military recruit training. Key requirements include obtaining Army Program Office certification for shoe samples and adhering to Berry Amendment compliance for domestic manufacturing.
The solicitation targets vendors who can produce six specific shoe configurations (three for men, three for women) with a 240-day initial production lead time and subsequent 210-day delivery orders. Delivery destinations include distribution centers in Michigan, Texas, and Georgia, serving the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Vendors must complete a comprehensive survey detailing manufacturing capabilities, pricing, subcontracting plans, and potential economic price adjustment considerations. Responses are due by 5:00 PM EST on July 1st, 2025, to be submitted via email to Kristy.DeRitis@dla.mil.
